How can i get scratches out of my hardwood floor?

Question:Its a light oak floor with a lacquer finish. The scratches don't go deep into the wood - it's mainly just the lacquer that's scratched.

Answers:
You may need to get it refinished.
Call the guy who put your floors in, he may give you a deal.

OLD ENGLISH is a polish that clear up these problems, it comes in a variety of wood colors.
If only the lacquer is scratched, get a matching lacquer and fill the scratches with it. Be sure to carefully clean the area that the new lacquer will adhere to. A light brushing with 220 grit sand paper will help. Just a LIGHT brushing though.
