I have a plastic drawer thats broken what glue do I use to mend it?
Question:The drawer is a kitchen cabinet and the face broken off. the area to be glued is about 12 to 16 inches. I need a brand or name of a glue and where I can get it.
Answers:
Use Gorilla Glue or another expanding urethane glue. It will stick anything to anything, fills voids, and lasts much longer than super glue. However, it does expand so you'll need to clamp the 2 pieces together and avoid overfilling - less is more!
You can get it at any hardware store or DIY home center.
Krazy Glue;Home Depot
Epoxy would probably be your best bet. The syringe type of epoxy is probably best for the application and there are several brands.
Loctite plastic repair is probably best for the application you mentioned. You can get it at Lowe's, home depot, other places. Should be less than $4.
gorrilla glue would work the best. it cures very hard, and is alot less messy than 2 stage epoxy. clean the surface real good and apply a small amount. you might have to clamp or hold the pieces together for a few seconds. you can get it at any hardware store.

a two part plastic epoxy is what i would use.
