My backyard isn't level and I need to level out my pool any ideas?
Question:As th epool fills up it tilts 2 one side and the water runs out,any ideas on what I could put underneath the pool 2 make it level?

no i think you need to dig a little of the dirt up from the other side of the pool to keep your pool in tack. something under it could tear or rupture the pool. good luck
You have to dig out a level area for the pool and put down a layer of sand to give it a nice surface that won't tear your liner. If you take a 2x4 you can use it as a screed to get the area level. Good luck
We had the same problem... We dug out the whole area, and tried to get it as even as possible, and then got a truck load of sand, and spread it out, trying to get the whole area
as even as possible. One side was always about an inch lower than the other. It didn't bother us enough to take down the pool, and re-do it, tho!
drain it tear it down and dig out about foot beyond your pool then get sand from your local concrete suppler and put down about an 1" to an 1/2" of sand and use a long 2x4 to level it out make sure you tamp the sand down if you don't when you go to re fill the pool it could push to the sides and it could be uneven and mushy in some spots
i would say that the most durable and long lasting method would be to dig out around the pool area and make it as level as pocible. then, rent a tamper from your local rental place and lay down some roundstone(gravel) tamp it down and put a layer of sand down and give it a good tamping. the gravel will give you a good solid base, while the sand will make it even and soft.
I had the same problem, you need to dig it out extending 1 foot beyond the pool perimeter, pull up any roots from trees you may find, level and then back fill with sand and level again. Most other ideas seem to hit on the mark too. Have fun!
