Hi There you have problem the expansion valve (restrictor)
This will divide your freon system i high/low pressure
after compressor the pressurepipe shouls be very hot ,after expansion valve pressure expands (low pressure /low Temperature)thus making the freon able to pick up heat from your evaporator .Solution :let a qualified Reefer technician check your expansion valve
It just means you have my unit! Sorry, but I have the same problem.Ours is a ,York. The guy who was working on it, left and has never been back! That must tell me something,eh?Oh, by the way, good luck finding a better serviceman than mine (sorry I couldn't answer your question)Bye
Call whoever service it and have them come back. There shouldn't be any charge if they are a reputable company.
The only time I had that problem they added freon and that took care of it. If you just had it serviced they might have left something loose and your freon leaked out. Hope things get cooler for you soon.
Call the contractor back. Something is wrong.
Silly question but is the T-Stat set to cool?
Is the outside unit running. Fan and compressor?
Was the unit cooling properly before the work was done or was it a simple cleaning?
Is the unit large enough for your house?
Check that all the duct work is connected and that all the vents are open also. Make sure there is air coming out of the supply grills. They may not have hooked up the supply ducts to the unit after they worked on it. Lots of possibilities. Why did they put freon in the unit and how much? Could have a leak.
Good luck.
Call repairman to come back...What is thermostat set to(cool/heat)? What is temperature set to?
Sounds like freon leaked out or was not charged up enough...
if you outside unit is running, an easy do it yourselfer way to check refrigerant adequacy is to push back the insulation tube from your outside unit. just an inch or two. you should be able to see the copper pipe instantly get a white frost on the line. if it doesnt, you are certain to be low on refrigerant.
