How can you replace burnt out burner on glass top cook stove?
Question:Our glass top stove is WONDERFUL. However, one of the burners will not come on. We cannot lift the top like a normal stove & see no way to fix it.
Is this something simple or would it be costly to replace the element?
No, we do not have a warranty on it any longer.

Sounds like you'd better call the store where you bought it & ask to have a repairman come to the house to replace the element. Have the make, model number, & serial number handy to give to the person you are speaking with by phone. You may be able to get an estimate at the same time.
