What's the best way of mending broken porcelain? What can I use as "filler" in larger gaps?

Question:Disaster! Our cat broke a cherished fabulous china dog that was in our window - it was a one-off designer thing, and belonged to my flatmate and I REALLY want to fix it for her. I have used Superglue to fit the larger pieces together, but now there are a couple of small holes where the pieces have gone missing – what can I use to fill these, as prettily as possible??
Many thanks!

Answers:
If you are in Australia or New Zealand there is great product called KNEAD IT made by Selley's. It's a 2 part epoxy putty that you knead together. When it sets it goes rock hard.

When you have filled the holes you can sand them smooth then use some touch up paint to match the rest of the china.
I always make sure I have some at home for all sorts of repair jobs.
