My sister's AC Unit broke down, she owns her condo.?
Question:Her condo is fairly new, how does she get a hold of the builders to see if the AC unit had a warranty? She called homeowners and they said they couldn't help her.

The homeowners won't replace or repair the A/C unit, but they should be able to provide the builders name & number.
If the entire system is over 5 years old then there is no warranty on anything unless one was bought with the condo.
A/C compressors are guaranteed 5 years. Other parts of the system are generally covered for 1 year.
Check her home warranty.
Chances are she'll have to pay to get it fixed.
