Old Galaxy refrigerator making strange noises.?
Question:My refrigerator (don't know how old it is, came with the house) is making a strange sound. Kind of a cross between a clunk and a poof. Fix it or trade up?

Get a new one ---- keep green. You will need a new one sooner or later, better sooner.

Compressor probably going, when you buy a new one make sure they haul the old one away, most cities have a pretty big fee to remove White Goods.
