Rheem Heat Pump problem?

Question:Recently my Rheem heat pump stopped working. I replaced the fan motor which required me to replace the capacitor with either a 5/370 for 230 volts or 7.5/370 for 208 volts. I replaced it with the 7.5 'cause thats all the guy at the parts store had. Now the fan needs a nudge to start spinning, then works fine untill it kicks off. Did I get the wrong capacitor or is there something else I need to look at?

Answers:
Sounds like the start capacitor is too small. If you install a larger one it should work good. Make sure after you are done you check your amp rating so you don't burn up the motor.
