We just had hardwood floors put in and they left some glue spots on some of the wood. What is the best way to

Question:remove the glue? The installer said to use vinagar but it doesn't remove the glue.

Answers:
if he put polyurethane over glue... vinegar will certainly not remove it. It should be his problem not yours to fix the glue spots. Call him back and tell him it didn't work and he needs to come and look at it and fix it. I am not sure why he would use glue to start with if he used tongue and groove flooring. If you install it right you don't need glue. Just a tight fit and the floor underneath should be immaculate and level. Just call him and dog him, sorry you may have to take him to judge judy lol

Sounds to me like the installer should take care of it.
Get them back in and have THEM remove the stains. They are legally responsible to leave a neat job.
