Noisy Ceiling fan?

Question:Can anyone out there tell us how to get rid of the loud buzzing noise in our ceiling fan?

Answers:
have somebody look at the wiring, something may not be wired correctly or a wire may be loose. check the outlet and make sure it is rated to take the load for the fan (very unlikely to be the case, but possible).

Call an electrician u can try tht coz u have a bearing problem
each year i take my ceiling fans apart. i take the blades off, give them a good cleaning, the light fixtures off to clean too, while i have them off i take housing cover off, wipe the dust off the motor, and spray wd-40 on and in the bearings. put all back together, all run great. fans need oiled, cleaned, and tightened each year. not hard to do. makes them last longer too.
is this fan connected to a speed control this will make it hum
