My lawn mower stalls after burning the gas that it was primed with. Why is it stalling?

Question:

Answers:
If it runs on the fuel you primed it with, that tells me it is not getting any fuel after that. Check the fuel line from the tank to the carb.

Is it old gas? if so put in stabilizer in to the tank and gas can to help get rid of the moisture.
check to see of the mower has a float bowl. check around the carb. and look for a small bowl shaped cap about 2 in. in dia. look at the bottom of this bowl and you will see a bolt. remove this bolt but not the bowl. on the side of this bolt you will see a small orifice (hole), look closely because it is very small. take a very small pin, needle, or bread tie wire and stick in the orifice a couple of times twisting it around to clean out orifice. replace bolt in mower and see if it runs. i've had to do this to several small engines.
Your gas line is plugged for some reason, or you have water in the fuel tank.
Because the carburetor needs cleaning.
