How much amps of fuse wire,to connect the fuse coil on a vacumn cleaner?

Question:between the two field coils that makes contact on the cleaner ,there appears a fuse wire which is burnt, how must I know how many amps of fuse wire to replace it. There are no markings to guide me.

I would look on line to see if you can find a schematic for your vac. If you have no luck with that and you decide that a new vac is not in your future try soldering a fuse cartridge in it's place then you can just use buss type fuses. As for size I would say start with a high amp fuse just to get it started then take an amp reading ( I assume you have electrical tools or you would not be messing with vac motors) then whatever the amps add 10% and that's your fuse unless you get sloblow then you could match it even.
