How do I add missing access points to my home to allow for a complete pest inspection?

Question:Do I need licensed contractor or would it be sufficient to hire a handyman?

Answers:
Missing access points? What like you can't find a door that used to be there? Like the pest inspectors go off of a blue print, and ignore doors and windows that aren't on there?

I don't get it. Just hire a new pest inspector, and point to your problem areas.

Unless there's a problem with your blueprints. If that's the case, you may have had some unauthorized rennovations. You may need to talk to city planners about that, and hopefully you have proof that it was that way when you bought it, otherwise you may be subject to fines.

you will either have to cut a hole in any foundation walls big enough for a person to crawl into or dig under them which would be quite a lot of digging. if foundation walls are concrete you would have to jackhammer a portion out between floor joists if sub area ofa raised deck is just wood sided you may be able to just remove siding or you could determine agood area and cut in a trapdoor in floor a lot of older homes had access doors in closet floors. Depending on your local building codes i don't think you'd need a contractor but best to check out first also be sure there are no pipes or electric in the way when you cut thru floors.
