Pool Problem!?
Question:i don't have a automatic pool sweep for my pool so every weekend i have to use the hose and vac it out manually. The problem I'm having is that after vacing for a few min the pressure goes way up and i get little suction. then dirty water starts going back into the pool from the return jet. I'm using a sand filter and the sand has just been changed. I had this same problem before i changed the sand. Please help it's driving me crazy.

your just not getting enough water pressure, we have a lady bug that goes on the bottom of the pool, it works great
after you backwash your filter then you get it? if so then you need to remove the sand again and replace the laterals inside the sand filter. i can almost bet you poured the sand in to fast and broke one of the. go to a pool supply store and get them for like five buck a piece.
Try backwashing the filter more often. It should always be done after vacuuming. If the pool's extremely dirty, it may need to be done once or twice during vacuuming.
