My portable aircon?

Question:I was given a portable aircon and have not clue as to how to use it. I have switch in on and sometimes it comes out hot air and then cold air and hot again. So I have given up using it. Can someone tell me what wrong?

It could be low on freon. The low pressure switch could be taking it out to prevent it from freezing up. This would give you the cycling of cold and hot air. good luck. Get a service man to take a look at it.
