How to get rid of sellotape marks on mirror?
Question:I pasted a medium-sized note on my mirror using sellotape a considerably long time ago to remind me off important stuff, and I've just torn the note off. but now I've got sellotape marks on my mirror. is there any way to get rid of them?

Sounds like the tape adhesive dried out. Must have been on your mirror for a long while. Any solvent will take it off. As the previous post indicated wd-40 will do the trick. If that does not work or it is not at hand, try rubbing alcohol, or Windex or even in a pinch, use a q-tip and some olive oil. This last option works but it takes a long time.

i have used a product called "goof off". wet the surface problem with it, leave it for a few minutes and rub it off with a dry cloth.
you may have to repeat it a few times don't use any tool or the surface could get scratched.
if it was just a glass surface you could use a razor blade to scrape it off, but a mirrored surface is coated and you WILL scratch it.
Use vegetable oil and paper towel. rub in a circular motion.
This is a very handy trick to remove any sticky residue left by stickers, labels and price tags
