What do you use to make wood drawers not stick?

Question:lubricant between wood and wood

Answers:
The fellow above has given you a standard answer and it will work fine; for a while. To fix it you need to pull drawer or drawers. Check where they are binding . If you have a wood plane then plane off ( remove the raised area) A power belt sander is what I have used. Borrow one, but use gloves when you use it. it can get away from you!! good luck on that Saturday fix it job!

take a bar of soap and rub vigorously along the rails.
pencil lead
candlewax
bar soap works well, you can also use spray on silicone. I'd pull the drawers out and see if you can tell where they are sticking from wear patterns. You might be able to trim a little wood off with a chisel to make them slide easier. The stickiness probably comes from seasonal expansion of the wood.
Take the drawer out and turn it upside down and run a candle where you see it rubs. That will do it.
Soap is good, but a particular soap...Fels Naptha (after planing or sanding)
