We want to heat our pool and are unsure of how to mount the hose on top of our roof?

Question:we are going to run about 500 ft of black irrigation hose about 3/4 in size from the return line of our pump to the top of that garage however we are unsure of how to secure it to the roof with out doing damage to the roof. please help

They make bracket to hold the pipe that looks like a question mark. Use them and lift the tab on your shingle and slide the flat under the tab and screw it down with a screw that has a flush head. Make sure not to over tighten. Then use some roofing tar or some silicone to seal real good around the screw. Then fold the tab of the shingle back down. If it is a metal roof then you can screw right to the roof. Just make sure to seal real good around the screw.
