Question:

Answers:
This man told me about a product he used after his house burnt down.He said it is called odor be gone. Not sure if that is how its spelled but it did have a nice smell to it.They put it in cups & just put them in every room.
I tried to find some but have'nt had any luck yet but he said it was bought at walmart.
Sorry about the Fire & Good Luck!

This is very difficult. the smell is absorbed by everything so you may never get it all out unless you just start getting new things like you couch, clothing, bedding and painting the walls with oil base primer then repainting washing everything. even the undamaged cabinet could hold some of the smell. you just have to work at it until everything has been cleared of the smelly smoke. talk to a restoration company locally for best products for this kind of Restoration.
Glad you asked. I went through the same thing myself several years ago. The best thing we were told was white vinegar and 409 and it worked like a charm!! A guy that worked for a company that cleaned houses that had fires told me of this solution. We had tried everything and this was the only thing that worked and it worked great! no more burnt smell :) Hope this helps and sorry for your fire
