Mould on the ceiling - how long does it take to grow?

Question:Everyday (!) for last two month I accidentally spilled water in my bathroom that is upstairs. The bathroom is carpeted and there is a huge puddle of water in it. Dowstairs, at the exact position under the bathroom there is a mould on the ceiling. I wonder whether 2 months are enough for the mould to create. If it is enough, then that's my fault.

Answers:
a long fuckin time

How can you possible ACCIDENTALLY spill water EVERYDAY for TWO MONTHS?
you better take care of it it is tocix and can lead to problems especialy with pregnant women
It don't take long for mold to grow and by now you will pobably need to replace the moldy area on the celing and correct the water problem. And mold only gets worse and does cause health problems.
yes it would grow in that amout of time
How the hell can you accidentally spill water in the bathroom EVERY day? From the sounds of it, you are creating a flood.

Obviously, two months are enough time if you are seeing mold.

Here is a way to kill mold that works 80% of the time. Keep a gallon jug of vinegar in the bathroom, and accidentally spill some every day. The acidity of the vinegar is very effective in killing most forms of mold. If this does not solve the problem, then get tea tree oil; this will kill virtually all mold but is rather expensive. Dilute 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil in 1 cup of water and spill that in the bathroom every day.
