My window A C is spitting water into the house even though it's tilted out. Can I drill hole in bottom?
Question:I thought adding another drain to the opposite side would let more water out but I don't want to break it more than it is already broken. Any info would help!!

The drain is probably clogged, blow it out or run a pipe cleaner, stick etc. through it. Run some bleach through one open to slow the mildew which is probably you problem.
Your drain is clogged.
Take the AC out of the window and bring it outside. Take out the screws holding the shell on out. Take the shell off and when you see brownish sludge, clean it out. Take a hose, some cleaner and some elbow grease to get the entire insides clean. Clean out the inside coil and outside coil as well. With all this done, you will drain properly and the AC will run better now that the coils are clean.
They already have drain holes . They are probably clogged, but you can add more just don't let the bit go up too far!
Yes you can drill holes in the bottom I have done so myself. Just be very careful where you drill to not damage the unit. Make sure its a big enough hole for water to drain properly and from time to time go out and check to make sure its not clogged with debris. Hope this helps
