I work in law enforcement and keep one with me for entry reasons and it works for me about 98% of the time. It takes some practice on an old lock, but it can work if you get your wrist and bumb to work together. In the last 7 years, I have used it for numerous high-risk warrants and entry for medical calls.. I have only had it not work about 2 times and I was trying to be quiet not accurate. I have probably used it successfully about 70+ times.
No sorry,I can't . It would be illegal for a lock smith to tell you that.Sorry!I don't think you'll find that web site!
Yea its www.youathief.com
I do home maintenance and occassionally have to deal with locked doors that don't have keys.
I've seen that discused. I tried making my own key to test it and discovered that I COULD open a lock in that fashion, but was only successful about 1 in 50 attempts. I tried to order a set of keys specifically made for that purpose and had worse luck than I had with the one I made myself.
The results of my experimenting.. It works, but not well enough to be a reliable method. By the time you stand on someone's porch long enough to try so many times you will likely have neighbors calling the police on you even if you do belong there.
The way you describe this "bumping", will probably only get you a key broke off in the lock.
youtube has a ton of vids on this just type lock bumping in.
