Answers:
In the drill chuck at first fix a three sided shank twist drill ( Pilot drill ) With a suitable arbor you can fix the hole saw to the drill. The drill will at first locate the center and and start drilling, the hole saw will follow the drill and cut the hole exactly where you wanted.

youll need the attachment that goes in the drill chuck.
A hole saw comes with a standard sized bit, which is used to start the hole off, it fits into your drill chuck as usual starts the hole off then the hole saw just continues the process .
To use the full technical description , it's all in one lump!
Just a hole saw is not gonna be enough. I work at an electrical supply house and i sell them everyday. What you are going to need is called an arbor. Once you get that, you'll be able to fit any hole saw in your drill. If the bit wears out, you can buy replacement pilot bits almost anywhere. But if you are just getting started, the arbor is the piece everyone is talking about.
