How do you clean refrigerator water lines?

Question:little plastic pieces started coming out of the water dispenser after about three years. I have changed the filter but it didnt help

Answers:
Try this. First, pull frig out and turn off the water. Remove the line at the frig side. Get a large container, aim line into it and turn water on. Let run until clear. ( This may need to be done several times, after all, the container is only so big. )
Reconnect line and fill container from glass fill switch ( Like you're getting a glass of water ) Do this until line runs clear. If the problem persists, you have an internal problem and need a tech.

I wish I knew. I will be waiting for answers with you 1
It may be less complicated to just replace the lines , and switch to a whole house filter that hooks on to your main line , if you do not already have one

plastic lines for some reason seem to have more junk either created in the line or flowing through the line than copper lines , I changed my whole house over , after I replaced a water heater ,and saw all of the vile , disgusting , smelly sh*t that came out of the connecting lines , and the water heater itself .
Like everyone else I would like to know to! Mine doesn't make ice like it use to, its slow! Hope you get some good answers!
