Simplicity 728, I put a larger motor on it?

Question:This mower is great. It gets my kid around well but getting my weight up these Arkansaw hills is a problem. Can I put a larger motor on the frame without any major changes? This Lawn Tractor is well built and I think it's worth buying a larger motor if a non-mechanic type person like myself can do it. My kid would probly sell it if there is a Simplicity collector out there, hightech_hillbilly2000@yahoo.c...

Changing to a larger engine is 'Problematic' at best. Lawn tractors are designed for a specific engine and going bigger can lead to numerous problems. ie belt tension, belt alignment, battery location, hood clearance, the list goes on and on. I would strongly caution a 'non-mechanic type person' against this!
