Can I use 13W type A light bulb (CFL) in the ceiling light that required type b bulb (max 60w)?

Question:The ceiling light required Type B bulb with 60 W Maximum but I would like to change to 13W Compact Fluorescent Bulb which is more efficient. The CFL is type A so I am not so sure if it will increase risk of fire. Basically, the CFL is colder than the regular bulb so I just need suggestion or I need to get the smaller CFL type bulb to use in this ceiling light.

Answers:
If the CFL will physically fit, use it.

you can buy adaptors
Use the 13W CFL - it will actually decrease tha chance of fire since it runs cooler.
