Hardwood floors?
Question:My cat got to a pen and broke it on the hardwood floors. The stain is a blue ink stain, just the length of the pen. What is the best way to get this up? Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
P.S. the cat is ok... :)

I don't know if this will work on ink, but I use Orange-Glo on my hardwood floors for everyday cleaning and it gets up a lot of stuff, so does Murphys oil soap, all these can be found in the cleaning aisle of your local grocery store. As far as pen you can try it but you might have to live with the stain, unless you can sand down that area and rebuff the floor, then stain it again.
You did not mention if your floors are real hardwood or the pergo type flooring. If it is the pergo type flooring I would call the manufacture and ask them.

If you can get to it while it is still fresh, try neutral colored shoe polish paste wax.
You might try a product named "Goof-Off", available at home centers, and hardware stores.
