Why did dropping my desk lamp make the bulb brighter?
Question:And not only did it make it brighter, instead of it being that red or yellowish color its more of a blue now. Is the bulb going to blow? Should I drop all the lamps in the house?

if you used a fluoro lamp ( 11 or 13 watts) you'd use far less power, you'd get that bright "blue" light, your lamp's intensity wouldn't change if you dropped it, and most of all, you'd reduce your CO2 emissions.
The bulb is going to blow soon.the filament is burning hotter
You shook the filament & eventually it will burn out - the filament is barely touching the other end of the connection! It could stay on, as long as the filament is still touching, but most likely, it will go out soon. So don't drop all your other lamps unless you want to be replacing bulbs soon!
you sorted out some of the filaments, less resistance, more current, more wattage
get a spare bulb, you're gonna need it soon
stand back she'll blow ASAP
