How do i clean rusty glass?
Question:ive got some popout rear windows on my car, the bolts have gone rusty, ive replaced them, but rust has left marks that has stained the glass like with an oil type streak, how can i remove this?

inhibited phosphoric acid or CRL. home depot has both.
Try vinegar and newspaper.
with the same special solution a sheriff would polish his sheriffs badge with if it were rusty!

One thing that works wonders for rust and will not scratch the surface is a very inexpensive, very fine steel wool pad. I repeat; It must be very fine. They are available at your local hardware store.
Use it dry..no water or other wet substance. Then just wipe away with a dry or wet cloth.
Try coke.It will dissolve rust and any mineral stains
