What is the best way to clean vinyl siding? Is there a particular cleaner that I should use?

Question:

Answers:
i have found that DAWN dish detergent in my pressure washer works best and is safe.

A cleaner called "Mean Green" can be purchased at any Wal Mart or Dollar Store, it's very inexpensive and works like magic.
The best thing i've found is call Purple Power...if you have a Advance auto parts around you they got it there.
Usually, just using a pressure washer will cut off most of the built up dirt. If you have tougher spots, you can try an environmentally safe cleaner like simply green and a light scrubbing with a nylon brush. For a more set in stain, or to kill any mold growing on the siding, spray on a light coat of bleach and water mixed in a clean garden sprayer, followed with the power washer.
Power washing the sidings should be sufficient without using chemicals.
if you dont know what you are doing ,,,DONT POWER WASH
mix household bleach and water 50-50
use a garden type sprayer and let it set about 15 minutes
use garder hose and ,,,clean siding
some may need to go again
start at bottom ,,up with solution and top down with water
dont waste your money on fancy cleaners
