I'm going to change the thermocoupler on my water heater.?

Question:Is there anything I should know so I don't screw up or blow up?

Answers:
Nope, not really. It's a pretty simple thing to do. Just make sure you get the sensor set solid in the flame. Worse that can happen is your water heater won't work. But you'll do fine.

is it a thermocouple or a sensor better check and get the right one either one is easy to replace just remove old one screw in new one,and are you changing it because pilot wont stay lighted??
