How can i stop or repair my garage roof from leaking water when it rains?,?


Question:i tried patching the area of leak but it still dont work is there some sort of a special sealant i can apply over entire garage roof,to stop the leak,please help,by the way the roof is made of steel beams and cynlinder blocks covered with cement ,i think.

You can buy roof sealers at most any builder's supply. You can tar over any large cracks or holes and then seal the entire roof.

It sounds like you need a new roof, get a roofer out to take a look, he can advise you better than I.

Sticking stuff on top of a leaky roof is a temporary solution if you can patch up the leak at all.
Henry's roof seal, it even works in the rain. You can buy it at Lowes or Home Depot. It comes in gallon can or caulk gun cylinders. It's very sticky like tar.
First find the leaks and block if possible.
If you end up with a very persistent leak you may have to divert the leak and then pipe it out . I had one of these that even two professional plumbers could not fix so eventually did it myself. Unconventional but 100% effective for 5 years.
