How can I determine if my a/c needs freon?It only gives warm air.?

Question:I have a Electohome a/c and there is no cool air at all.I have never had a problem with it before,I have had it 10 yrs. This is my apartment air conditioner,for my home

You personally cannot check the freon level. This should be done by a certified technician. Sounds to me like there may another problem. Usually if the a/c unit is low on freon, the coils and lines freeze over.
