How can i get blood out of my new mattress?
Question:i have a brand new mattress (which im still paying for). since its that "time" of the month, i usually put my alarm on for the middle of the night to change. but i guess i didnt hear it so i didnt wake up untill 6 this morning when my boyfriend called. turns out i had 2 HUGE (maybe about 5 inches across each) blood stains on my mattress :( :( :(! considering i had to go to work i couldnt do much but i tried to get it out as much as possible with laundry detergent and cold water...i tried not to scrub too hard so i wouldnt ruin it.it came out pretty well but its still obvious...im going to take care of it when i get home.what else can i use that can help it?? i heard about vinegar and stuff...anything else?
Answers:
Hydrogen peroxide and dab. Then use OxyClean. Blot with towels. You'll probably end up with a water stain, but it's better than blood.
PS, with flows like that, get a waterproof matress pad cover.
sofa cleaner
try a baking soda/water solution, should work like a charm
Blot it with hydrogen peroxide and clean rags . Next month, sleep with an old towel folded over 3 times under you, and try a thicker night time pad.
Try puting this on there: in a mixture of 1 quart of water, ½ tsp of liquid hand soap and 1 tablespoon of ammonia.
I soak my clothes if i get blood on it so you can just pour it on there i guess.
Try a Baking Soda and ToothPaste mixture type paste... Rub it real good and remove it off... I know it will remove some things...
ERA works great
hydrogen peroxide, let it sit for 2 minutes, them wash out with warm, soapy water.
