I want to hook up my BBQ to a large exterior propane tank.?

Question:I have converted my house to run on natural gas and want to use up the remaining propane in my large external 1500 litre tank to run my BBQ (also propane)
Can anyone advise regulator types and plumbing connections? thanks

Answers:
Be sure you have the proper and adequate pressure regulator on the propane tank, NOT the BBQ! Be sure the hose from the regulator to the BBQ is propane certified.

If you don't follow these two important requirements some friends may be sending you flowers...either in the hospital or to the grave side.

Propane is nothing to fool around with if you do not respect it and use it properly. Sadly most who use it on BBQ's have no idea how dangerous a bomb they are handling.

call the company that fills your propane tank and ask them for advise
