im about to chuck this thing out the window.
i need to find the drain hose on a GE quiet-aire a.c. model#AGN05LAG1, or AGP05LAG1. im not eve sure if the front was supposed to come off, but it's off and i can put it back on. all i need to know is where i can locate the drain hose, so i ca unclogg it, so it will stop leaking profusely all over my mattress, which is probably now filled with water and coolant!
HELP!

Answers:
If this is a through the wall or window mount unit, the drain hole is on the out side. The newer models are designed to keep the water in the bottom, and it is then evaporated out the back to help cool the condenser. Overflow spills out of a small hole on the back side of the pan.
Is the AC level front to back?
There won't be any coolant in the water, as it is lighter than air and dissipates into the atmosphere. If there is coolant leaking, you won't get cooling, and as a result, no condensation water.
