Lawn king with 14.5 b&s rider wont start clicks once when turn the key?
Question:replaced the solenoid it starts when u put jumper calbes on battery then to the starter

I sounds like you need a new battery (if it only starts with jumper cables on it.), that is usually the case when it just clicks when you try to start it.
Bad ground. Loose or dirty.
Battery is dead.check cables on the battery. Make sure they are clean and connected tightly!!
guess some folks can't read. he is putting the jumper cables on his battery and connecting them directly to the starter, which bypasses the starter solenoid, if his battery was dead it still wouldn't start.
1st you need to cheak and make sure the ground cable has a good connection at both ends, next I would check the safety devices like the clutch switch, seat switch, or blade switch as they could interfer with the engine cranking thru the ingnition switch
