I have a LG airconditioners thats a 10,000BTU.?
Question:Can I place this in a window sideways. . when I bought the air conditioner they told me not to tip it on its side. .but someoen said I could put it in the window sideways. . is this true if not please tell me why I cannot place this in the window sideways! thanks

if u put your window unit sideways the oil that in it will stop up the line u will have no ac
the water is desinged to exit out of a hole and if it sidewaus then it could cause a water buildup
ill give you a few 1. you will burn out compressor quick no oil return , they are not made to drain sideways, fan are balanced will tear them apart quick
If you would read the installation literature that came with the unit, you will know.......
