I noticed some water at the bottom of our new central a/c condenser. Is this normal?

Question:Today is the first day that we've run the unit since having it installed last week.
I'm noticing small puddles at the bottom - air in the house in nice and cool and it is running well - not too long or short.

Answers:
Normal. Condensation from the coils. Especially if it very humid.

I`m not sure where your seeing these "puddles" but if it is going where it is Supposed to, you may be seeing the drain pan. This IS normal to see some water. As new as it is the drain tube should`nt be stopped up. So I would`nt worry about it *Unless* you see or feel the water on the closet floor.
If you Do call the company ASAP as this can lead to Major damage.
Been there, Don`t wanna go there again.

are you sure it is the condenser if outside it is the condenser if inside it is the evaporator normal to have condensation in pan should be draining though , if out side the condenser if it has rained you get water a little condensation not enough to cover the bottom of pan
