How do I convert a propane stove to regular gas?

Question:I have a good stove that runs off propane. I'd like to give it to a foster family I work with but they have regular gas. Is it easy to convert this stove? Do I need a professional to do it for me? Thanks

Answers:
Conversion seems to mostly require drilling the orifice holes slightly larger. There is a lot of information on line about BBQ conversion, less about stoves.

I recommend you Google propane natural gas conversion and check out some of the BBQ sites - they have good pictures and instructions because there are some serious BBQ enthusiasts out there, and this is an upgrade to brag about! Then, Google with "stove" instead and read the specific instructions.

Yes and no on the professional part You can change jet,s yourself but much easyer to call gas co. they will come out change jet,s and hookup free.
The conversion procedure is to replace the orifices -- the tiny holes through which the gas goes. You need bigger ones for natural gas. Check with any appliance repair store, or with the manufacturer. It should not cost much.
