How much does a new doorknob cost?

Question:Average one nothing special

Answers:
Well that depends...There are solid doors and hollow doors-A keyed knob for a hollow door is a bit more than a passage(no key hole or lock)

A knob for a solid door is completely different than a hollow door and is just two knobs on a spindle, held by set screws.

In any case it will cost no more than fifteen dollars for a simple set-as low as five for a simple closet knob

Go to the local hardware store to price them..You can spend 10 to 30 dollars on them.. Try and antique store and get an unusual one.
7 to 15 dollars
Ten bucks or so, for an outside door, interior door is around 7-8.
Go to your nearest hardware store and look.
interior 12 exterior door lock 45 for inexpensive type. 80 for a very good quality lock set
