How do I remove scratches in a brand new stainless steel kitchen sink?
Question:
Answers:
400 grit wet-or-dry sandpaper, like body shops use, and a bit of elbow grease will get rid of all but the deepest scratches. Use it wet.
Those scratches are not removable, but if you are really irriatated, try using steel wool. This will leave a mark as well, but it will be uniform.
Sorry but scratches happen. Mine is stainless steel, but still going strong after 10 years.
You can get a Stainless Steel polisher at any hardware store. But it's a kitchen sink it's going to scratch eventually anyway.
I would recommend contacting the manufacturer. Different manufacturers have different ways of creating the finish on the sink so trying to buff it out or using any abrasive could mess with the finish. There are products like the Blanco 406-201 BlancoClean Stainless Steel Sink Cleaner but that is for cleaning rather than repairing the sink.
