Question:We need to understand the best location to have the fuel of new solid fule boiler to ensure that the house rod is not blackened does not enter the house due to winds. we propose to live in central NSW.

Answers:
Building Regulations – Any installation of a heating appliance, or modification to a chimney such as relining, has to be carried out in accordance with Building Regulations.

I would first start there with your local building inspectors and find out just what the requirements is for your location. They can give you the best information you need to answer your questions and concerns.
Good luck!

The discharged smoke and flue gases are to be led to a water tank where these will be dissolved and the gas would be free of black matter to blacken the house rod.
