Wavy Designs in Ceilings?
Question:I recently puchased a home with designs in the ceilings from plaster. The deisgns are on the ceilings in most rooms. What is the best way for me to have smooth ceilings?

You should hire this done by a drywall contractor. Its a very labor intensive job to remud ceilings, expect some steep estimates. it will take at least two coats of mud and then has to be primed. Consider modifying instead. Have a contractor ( drywall) spray heavy splatter( drywall mud) over the present patterns and do a knock down texture. If that won't work for you and money is not an issue all the ceiling will have to be hand trowelled. good luck!
