Order of installation when using under-tile heating cables and Ditra matting?

Question:When using Shulter Ditra matting to de-couple tiles from a plywood floor should the electric under-tile heating cables be placed under the Ditra or be embedded into a screed on top of the matting? Should that screed then be left to set before laying the tiles on top?

Answers:
The Ditra goes down first and the cables laid on top. Its usually taped down not put down with a screed.

if on wood ply floor should be 18mm thick & well fixed. 6 inch centres, thereone lay matting & grid latex just to top of grid, ( protects grid) takes around 3 hrs to set to walk on ( depends on mix etc) can
Matting underneath ,cables are cable tied on top..
