Anyone know how to install a water diverter on a roof?

Question:I have to divert water from a section of my roof to one of the gutters.

a piece of drip edge (from anyone who sells roofing material) is slid, on an angle under the shingles above the gutter you want to feed. it can be fastened in place by careful nailing (roofing nails) under the shingle flaps or with and all-weather caulk that matches the shingle color.
