What can I do to revive an orange tree that's no longer producing fruit/?

Question:I have an orange tree in my backyard.that had been producing plenty of fruit until the past few months. I'm renting my home, and the owners said all I need to do is water the tree once a week, and it will be fine. I'm concerned that's not so true, or maybe I need to water it more than they say. What can I do to nurse this tree back to health? Any suggestions?

Answers:
Why not take a soil sample to your county extension service. Tell them what the problem is and you'll get your answer after they run test on the soil. Hope this helps.

Don't they only fruit in the winter months ?
