Help! Time is of the essence here. Are there any spray painters out there familiar with Wagner Paint crew?
Question:I have used this thing before but now it's not getting any pressure. I don't have an owners manual and for some reason I can't download it from the Wagner site. I've removed all parts and cleaned out all old paint, I've checked my spray gun and cleaned it out, I've even thinned out the paint some, which I shouldn't have had to, but I did to no avail. I 've taken the gun off the hose to check for pressure and it seems to be comming out ok. The little piston in the compressor part is working fine too. The Primer works good too.So I put the gun back on with cleaned out tip and the pressure never builds up enough to turn the compressor off. I'm hoping that I did not miss putting any O-rings back on or gaskets but I 'm pretty sure I got them all. Wish I could check the owners manuel. Got any ideas? ps I've also run the thing with just water and still no pressure. Need help ASAP or I'm gonna have to roll it soon.
Answers:
Roll it brother. The paint will stick better anyway. As for your wagner. These consumer grade things (for however pretty they are) aren't of very high quality on the INSIDE. My guess is that the piston ring/rings, (if there even are any) are shot. Now stop giving yourself a headache with a g@&+% machine and,... roll on brother, roll on.
