Need your advise for repair my TV.?

Question:Question Details: I got a small old TV that is still working well, but the sound knob is loose up. Could it somewhere be tie up and how?

Answers:
Look in the yellow pages for an electronics parts store. They will have a variety of knobs, although it is unlikely that you'll find an exact match. Some knobs have set screws, which you can tighten so that it won't be loose on the shaft. By the way, I would not recommend Radio Shack--they are into a different market.

You could also browse online with Allied Electronics, Newark, or Digi-Key. Here is one page of knobs from Allied:

Time to buy a new TV
hope ,if you have a vcr, just feed video from vcr to back of tv,and run sound from the channel selector into stereo amp in,or it mite say audio in,,,,bypass ,in other words, the tv audio by cutting and covering the tv speaker wires with wire caps, getting sound from the vcr
Take off the knob, spread Super Glue liberally on the stem, replace knob quickly before it drys and hold tightly a few seconds.
Gorilla Glue works good too but takes longer to dry.

Have you considered glueing the knob, is the twist knob on a shaft where you turn it (left/right) or is it a push button, if it is a twist knob try gluing it in place, if its push button I am not much help sorry
